Tyrannical Toyota

Toyota Red with Blood

Toyota Motor Corp is to be feared. They may not be a terrorist group, but the government has now linked 52 deaths to crashes allegedly caused by Toyota’s uncontrollable acceleration problem. To put the death toll in perspective, the Boston Massacre led to five civilian deaths, Bonnie and Clyde are responsible for twelve deaths or so, and the explosion of Mount Saint Helens in 1980 claimed about 57 Americans. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said Monday that documents obtained from the Japanese automaker showed that Toyota knew of the problem with the sticking gas pedals in late September but did not issue a recall until late January. (the US government is seeking fine of $16.375 million fine for responding so slowly) I feel sorry to all those who bought one in November, December, or January. Good luck, by the way, to those buying a Toyota nowadays. May there be nothing unreported about your purchase. (loose wheels, an exploding gas tank, or perhaps a sticking accelerate pedal) The sticking gas pedal recall involved 2.3 million vehicles. Toyota dealers have fixed 1.7 million vehicles under recall so far, which means that there are over half a million Toyotas still waiting for the perfect chance to strike. And that should send shivers down everyone’s spine.

9-12 Tea Party

On September 12th, Americans from across the country came together to speak out against Obama’s outrageous socialist agenda. The stimulus bill, bailouts, and universal health care bill are among the policies that people are saying no to. Let me not forget the Czars! Yes, there are many reasons to dislike Obama, and may conservatives push forward into the 2010 elections with such power as they have marched on Washington. Crowd estimates reached 2 million people, wow.View article here on the crowd.

amabO has it backwards

Obama keeps toting around his health care ideas as if they are the one and only solution to the problem. Can anyone in his or her real mind actually think that his plan is the solution? His only good talking points don’t reflect at all what is in the bill. Yet many Americans still support Obamacare, tricked by his lies. Adolph Hitler once said “what luck for the rulers that men do not think”. What people like Hitler and Obama forget is that most thinkers are not talkers so when they talk about there plans, there have more enemies than they realize. I have thought about what Obama has said, and now I am talking.

Lie number one. Obama said that he would not sign a bill that adds to the deficit. According to the CBO, the government health care plan would add over $213746385264.98 to the deficit annually.

Lie number two. Obama said that nobody will have to give up private coverage. But let us think about this. The bill says that an employer’s private plan has to be approved by the Department of Labor and the new Health Choices Czar. Many businesses that are currently providing for their workers will not be able to meet the requirements thus forcing them to pay the 8% tax for the public option. Millions of people will be forced off private plans which will result in the inability for private sector health care to compete against the government option which takes taxes from the businesses and a sizable portion of American population.

Lie number three. Obama said that illegal immigrants will not get benefits should the bill pass. However, according to the Nonpartisan Congressional Research Service on August 26th, this bill (hr3200) does not contain any restrictions on non-citizens participating in the exchange. Both amendments to the bill requiring that people provide proof of citizenship have been rejected due to foreseeable complications with that.

These are only some of the problems and lies that surround Obamacare, a system that would displace the private sector at great cost. If this bill succeeds, Obama will have, in essence, socialized 17% of the national economy. And once the government has that control, it will never give it up. One last parting note, if this public option is so great, than why is it that members of Congress, who presently get health insurance coverage through the Federal Employee Health Benefits Program (FEHBP), which offers enrollees nearly 300 choices among a variety of plans, coverages and costs, are not willing to switch???

Government Programs are Just Swell

NASA said on the 14th that the U.S. plan to return astronauts to the moon by 2020 will not happen without a big boost in the budget, leaving only the International Space Station as a viable target for the human space program. NASA already spends about half of its $18 billion annual budget on human space flight and already has spent about $9 billion on Constellation, a project to build a capsule, rockets and lunar landers like those developed for the 1960s-era Apollo moon program. I am not really seeing the progress here. If the government gave me the funding every year till 2020 instead of NASA, I would exchange it for quarters. According the U.S. Mint, a quarter is 1.75mm or about 0.0688976378 inches thick. The average distance from the moon to the Earth is 238857 miles or 15133979520 inches. A quarter goes into 15133979520 inches 219658902732 times rounding to the nearest quarter. 219658902732 quarters equals $54,914,725,683. If I received 9 billion dollars a year from Uncle Sam, it would take just a tick over 6.1 years for me to get enough cash to reach the moon in quarters. August of 2015 would be about 4.5 years in head of schedule at a savings of over 40 billion. If only I could stack change as well as Barack!

Liar liar, White House on Fire

Barack Hussein has tried everything from prime-time addresses to the nation, to stacked town-hall meetings, to partisan video posts on whitehouse.gov to convince the public that private insurance will still be available to the 90% of Americans that already are covered. Yet, like most people, he knows that it will in fact take out the private sector just like when government took over crop insurance.
This first video demonstrates the wonderful lie that he wants people to believe so that Obamacare will pass allowing socialism to creep in and control everybody.
Here is the truth that he knows. He does not care about helping you, rather controlling you. The greed for power is insatiable.

Abortion in America

AbortionGov’t insurance would allow coverage for abortion. (http://tinyurl.com/numg99) According to the Gallup poll this action is not even in the best interest of the people. (http://tinyurl.com/l9zjdt) More people claim they are pro-life than pro-choice and less than a quarter (21%) of Americans believe in murder under any circumstance. Nevertheless, the government feels the need to encourage age old infanticide in a trendy way. Real progressive.

The Taste of Victory

UnScrambled

Last week, my Mom bought a box of Cheeze-it crackers, Junior Scrabble Cheeze-its that is. I sat down to eat them with the intention of spelling my name with the letters. After the second serving I realized that this was easier said than done. Many of the crackers were broken or did not have a very good letter impression on them. I decided to give up and try the next day at lunch. Again I had little success, mustering only my first name and half of my last. Since I was not the only person eating them, the supply was dwindling quickly and I knew that I had one sitting left. It was almost hopeless when I opened the box for snack the next day. There was barely a serving left and I knew the odds were against me. Alas, I poured out the remaining Cheeze-its onto my napkin and started to organize them. Two C’s I found, then an A and so on, everything was working out. With only a few characters to go, I felt confident. Finally I had spelled my first and last name! 11 out of 26 crackers spelled my name. I was so excited that I took a picture for you all to see.

Ford should Focus on US

Here is what a proper RS should be for the USA

Yes, Ford does make a US version of the Focus, but all our Focuses have wimpy engines. In Europe, Ford makes a Focus RS with a turbocharger boasting 300HP. Where is our RS? CAFE standards shouldn’t be a problem because turbochargers don’t cut gas milage and being a front wheel drive shouldn’t be a problem either. That is because Ford has already developed a revolutionary front suspension coupled with a limited slip differential for the European RS. So… what is the hold up? Perhaps there is no market for a performance model? Yeah right! Look at Ford’s competition. Chevrolet makes an SS model of the Cobalt, Dodge makes an SRT4 version of the Caliber, Honda has the Civic Si, and even Toyota makes sport versions of the Corolla. I decided to take the matter into my own hand and make a mock up of what an American Focus RS should look like. Compared with the standard Focus and its competitors, I would say it has a good chance of survival. Feel free to tell me what you think by posting a comment.

Wikihow Success

For those of you who don’t know, I like to construct card towers from time to time. On wikihow, I shared this passion of mine by making an article describing how to construct a card tower. My article has been a great success, becoming one of the first articles on wikihow to be featured and eventually becoming one of the 100 articles put on the $100 dollar laptops sent to Africa. But now, I am super excited as my article has achieved over 100,000 views. Unfortunately for me, wikihow does not revenue share. Oh well, I am still the proud author of Build a Tower of Cards.
